We are currently searching for a Corporate Counsel, with ability in litigation to join the Uber Legal Team as we scale nationally and globally. You will be based at Uber s HQ in San Francisco reporting to the Managing Counsel, Litigation. **WHAT YOU''LL DO** - Interest in expanding scope of your practice to other areas of law as part of a growing legal team - Enthusiastic about Uber! **PERKS** - Collaborate with outside counsel to efficiently resolve lawsuits and other potential disputes - California State Bar member - Strong academic credentials and law degree from a top law school - Ground floor opportunity and as an early member of our legal team, you ll have the opportunity to establish policies and procedures for the company - Work together with Managing Counsel to identify and mitigate potential litigation issues, while providing risk management and counsel to business teams when necessary - Excellent business judgment, communication and people skills - 8+ years litigation background, including at least six years of law firm background; in-house background a plus - We have access to an amazing list of advisors and investors that we actively engage - We re not just another social web app: we re moving real assets and real people around their cities - Consistently review and analyze legal risks for Uber nationally and internationally - Travel like a diplomat: employees are showered with Uber credits - Substantive knowledge and ability in litigation - Advise on contract disputes, including arbitration and litigation matters **WHAT YOU ARE** #LI-POST  ....
