We currently have an exciting opportunity in the San Francisco Bay Area for an Analytical Chemist. Analytical Chemist will be responsible for performing analytical testing of raw materials, finished products, and stability samples which includes, but is not limited to: Chromatographic Techniques (HPLC, GC, TLC), Spectroscopic Techniques (UV-Vis, FTIR, AA), Titration Techniques (color-indicated and potentiometeric), Dissolution, Particle Size, Viscosity, pH, and various wet chemistry/physical testing techniques. Chemist will document accurately all activities, adhering to cGMP/GLP and all company/federal standards. The position is a 6 mnth contract, forty hour work week and the need is immediate. Qualifications: BS, MS, or PhD in Chemistry, Biochemistry or related discipline. A min of 2 years background in a GMP environment, preferably biopharmaceutical or pharmaceutical.
